'Beg..Borrow..Steal' was a game which we played as a kid. One of the kid would act as a 'king' or as a 'queen' and would demand just anything. All other had to get it by any means. Those who couldn't get it, were out of the game... This was actually a way of teaching kids that to succeed, you need to 'ACT'. But I find the game quite a negative one. Whoever conceptualized this game, was may be a loser..or a sadist.. Why would anyone want a kid to do any of the three acts of begging or borrowing or stealing? On a second thought, may be the game 'designer' was from a humble background from 1940s or so who had never seen any riches. Cut to 21st Century. You would want the kid to be not just smart..but to be street smart and sharp. Begging would make them just vanish. Borrowing would make them lose their worth. Stealing would mean they do not know how to earn it. This game would still exist..but high time that it is renamed. What would you...
